    Numerous festivals are held in Gilgit Baltistan but the most dominant one is the Shandor Polo Festival. Shandor Polo festival is one of the enormous celebrations in Pakistan. This celebration is held from 7 to 9 July consistently on Shandor Pass in Chitral Area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

    The polo match is played between the groups of Chitral Area and regions of Gilgit-Baltistan.
