Gilgit Baltistan is one of the northern spaces of Pakistan. It is considered as an astonishing valley whose interesting waterfalls attract the hearts of visitors. Languages:

Shina is spoken in Gilgit, Skardu, Diamer and Chilas. Aside from Skardu, Khaplu, Nagar, Shigar and Kharmang, Balti language is spoken in Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir. It is the solitary language of Chinese Tibetan Family spoken in Pakistan. The world's longest story, Ceasar's Tale was written in Balti language.  

Khowar language is spoken in Ghizar and Chitral. Literature is being written and the books of prose and poetry are being published in this language. The Wakhi language is spoken in Wakhan belt, Chitral, Gojal and a few pieces of Afghanistan, Tajikistan and China. 

Burushaski is an exceptional language, which implies that it isn't found in some other language in the world. Books of this language are being written in Urdu script. Speakers of this unique language can be found in Nagar, Yasin Valley and Hunza.

The cultural events of this land may include Shandor Polo Festival, Babusar festival, Jashn-e-Bahara and old man dance. It is a traditional dance in which some of the people wear old fashioned clothes and dance in very decent way. The agricultural products of Gilgit Baltistan may include wheat, corn, barley and fruits.

    Numerous festivals are held in Gilgit Baltistan but the most dominant one is the Shandor Polo Festival. Shandor Polo festival is one of the enormous celebrations in Pakistan. This celebration is held from 7 to 9 July consistently on Shandor Pass in Chitral Area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.



    The polo match is played between the groups of Chitral Area and regions of Gilgit-Baltistan. Shandor polo ground is viewed as the most noteworthy polo ground on the planet which is about 3700 m. the polo ground is near Shandor lake. This celebrations give a stunning social involvement with the Hindukush Mountain Ranges.
